Officials focus on how anesthesia was used for ex-Waukesha woman. Police in Florida have joined the investigation of a former Waukesha woman's death following cosmetic surgery, after ex-employees accused the plastic surgeon of shoddy practices. Julie Rubenzer died Dec. 26 at a Brookfield nursing home after lingering three months in a coma following surgery in a Florida clinic.
