The nose is made of two parts soft tissue and skeleton. The soft tissue is made of skin and fat. This covers the skeleton which is made of bone and cartilage. The cartilage also has two parts the upper lateral cartilage and the lower lateral cartilage. In a rhinoplasty the skeleton is reshaped.
