- Over the last few years plastic surgeons have developed the technique of endoscopic or keyhole surgery in cosmetic plastic surgery. This is a modification of the technology of laparoscopy and arthroscopy. It allows the surgeon to do surgery through small incisions and therefore leave fewer scars. Several operations can be done with an endoscopic approach. This may be an option in your surgery.
