How will I feel emotionally after surgery?

Some patients feel emotional after surgery. Some even become depressed. If this happens to you, do not feel you are alone or frightened. It will almost certainly pass. Talk to your doctor about it. If it becomes persistent or serious he or she can help you find a counselor.
